Mein Name Ist Patrick

This short (3 min) film is a personal portrait of 46 year old Patrick Goetz: a father, a husband and a former camera-man who is battling ALS, the incurable, and fatal, motor neuron disease. The film depicts Patrick in a studio as he records computer generated sentences for use when his vocal cords fail, but more importantly it puts a human face on disease and also provides the viewer with an insight into the personality and vitality of its subject.
